for Trades & Service Businesses
Ink & Ledger provides structured, remote bookkeeping support and operational administrative support to U.S.-based trades and service businesses.
Our services are delivered under clearly defined scope, fixed retainers, and documented workflows to promote consistency, reliability, and professional boundaries. We operate within a limited client model to maintain service consistency and predictable delivery.
We support owner-operated and small team businesses that need organized financial reporting and structured back-office processes without hiring in-house staff or increasing internal administrative complexity.

Who We Serve
Ink & Ledger works with trades and service businesses that value structure, consistency, and clearly defined engagement boundaries.
We are intentionally selective to maintain service quality and preserve clarity in scope for both parties.
Not every business is a fit. Our Fit Assessment is designed to determine alignment, scope clarity, and engagement fit for U.S.-based trades and service businesses.
Why a Fit Assessment Matters
We maintain a limited client model to support consistent, high-quality service delivery.
Engagements are defined by scope, not ad-hoc tasks.
Responsibilities and boundaries are established at the outset of engagement.
Fit Assessments are used to determine whether there is alignment between service needs and our defined support model.
Completing the Fit Assessment is the first step toward organized financial records and structured operational support.
We Are a Good Fit For:
- U.S.-based trades or service businesses
- Under 15 employees
- Owner-operated or small leadership teams
- Revenue-generating businesses needing organized bookkeeping support
- Businesses requiring structured administrative systems
- Owners who value consistency, documentation, and defined scope
We Are Not a Fit If:
- You require tax filing or tax advisory services
- You require legal advisory services
- You expect fiduciary control or signing authority
- You are seeking offshore or high-volume low-cost bookkeeping
- You prefer ad-hoc, undefined, or reactive service models
